ENGINE
V6 four-stroke liquid cooled turbocharged QSX15-C500 diesel engine of the Cummins company with supercharged air cooling of "air-air" type.
- Cylinder bore and piston stroke -139,6 mm x 170,2 mm.

- Operating power-373 kW(507 h.p.) at 1800 rpm.
- Maximum torque - 2237 Nm at 1400 rpm.
An engine with "Quantum" system, containing electronic systems of fuel injection, diagnostics, engine protection and control. Oil cleaning system consists of a full-flow filter with one replaceable filtering element. Fuel purification system with one replaceable filtering element and water separator mounted on the engine. Water presence gauge is installed in the fuel tank. Cooling system consists of two radiator blocks: one block contains a cooling radiator for cooling liquid and transmission oil cooling heat exchanger (built into its lower tank) with two oil cooling inserts and aluminum block of radiators of supercharged air and fuel coolers. Cooling liquid filter with one replaceable filtering element is mounted on the engine. Heat condition control is run by the thermostat and fan. Belt fan runs through V1501 electromagnetic clutch of the Linnig company (Germany). Clutch control is run by V1602 electronic control block of the Linning company (Germany) by signals from pickups of cooling liquid temperature, air in intake manifold and fuel being drained from engine. Fan switching is carried out at the following temperatures: (87...95)°C of cooling liquid, (58...73)°C of supercharged air and (56...65)°C of fuel. 24 volts electric system.
